Histopathology Report

Macroscopic: Received specimen consist of several pieces of gray and brown fragile tissues totally measuring 6 x 4 x 1.5 cm. (6 B.S)

Microscopic: Serial sections revealing a high grade malignant glial neoplasm characterized by atypic variables size glial cells with significant cellular pleomorphism, frequent atypical uninuclear and multinuclear giant cells, gemistocgtic differentiation and atypical mitotic figures without necrosis or palisading . Hemorrhages and calcification are also seen.

Diagnosis: ANAPLASTIC ASTROCYTOMA OF LEFT SIDED CEREBRAL TEMPRO-OCCIPTAL REGION
