Background
of illness
Parham’s illness began attacks
of “Absence” in 1999. The first
diagnosis at Oct. 1999 was “Epilepsy”. After four month testing various
anti-epileptic tablets (such as Sodium Valproate and Authoxocimide), which
failed to control the seizures at last “Lamictal” tablets at a dose of 200 mg/day
were almost able to control the seizures. A year later (Oct. 2000) again a more
sever seizure occurred with marked confusion in his speech (lasting for ten
minutes). The CT-Scan (CT-Scan01) and MRI (MRI01,
MRI02,
MRI03,
MRI04) taken at that time revealed a brain tumor,
followed by a sub total excision a month later in Dec. 2000.
