Patient clinical situation after shunt installation

Parham showed comparatively signs of improvement in the first two weeks after shunt installation.  He started to become worst about May. 1,2001 and showed the below signs:

• Faintness, fatigue and weakness (very hard and progressive)
• Stomach inflation (it existed before shunt installation but it was not significant)
• Fever (at the beginning it was about 37-37.5 ^oC but grew up to 38 ^oC degree average)
• Urination problem (delay in urination that raised up to 24 hours)
• Constipation

Sonography showed ascitis and ileus of intestine that caused fecal impaction.
