Dear Mr. Gharavi

Salam
I apologize for the delay in response, as I told we had
 some difficulty
with
our remote system. I agree with Dr. Najaran's plan.
As yet I have not recieved any answer from Prof.
Kleiheus, and I will try to send him another
email and a carbon copy to you.

Sincerely,
S.M.Ghodsi

Subject: Dr. Najaran intructions for Parham

Dear Dr. Ghodsi

Salam
I thank you in forward for your time which you
endow me and respond all my detail questions . As you
wrote , I went and see Dr. Najaran . The outcome of
this meeting could be summarized as follow :

1)Lamicatal doze should be reduced by 50 ml/day to
100 ml/day for ten days ; and afterward it should be
reduced each ten days by 25 ml/day .

2)After ending the Lamictal doze (about 50 days
later) an EEG would be of benefit . The doctor
believes that taking an EEG now (about 5 weeks after
surgery) is too early .

3)A blood test could be done (maybe later  after
we ended Lamictal , because Parham is now very
frightened from any injection ) so as to measure
Phenytoin level , and if necessary , define an up to
date maintenance doze for it .

So far Parham hasn't  shown any evidence of
seizure(either in the form of absence or any other
forms)and I would highly appreciate if I could have
any comment from you ( specially your confirmation
about the instructed procedure for reducing Lamictal).

I wish you and your family health and success .

Sincerely Yours
Behzad Gharavi
