A Brief Introduction to Parham Foundation
In the memory of Parham Gharavi, a ten years Old Iranian
boy who died of a brain tumor and subsequent complications after surgery
on September 14, 2001 his family and medical team established a not- for-
profit foundation to provide:

Free international “Telemedicine” services, through www.ParhamMedical.org web site, for sick kids who need to
be consulted by doctors or medical centers
abroad.

Free domestic medical consultation and coverage for Iranian patients who
lack adequate medical coverage.

Free medical guide for Doctors& Patients

Medical databases ( search engines for doctors, medical centers etc.
in Iran ) and related links
-
Public and family consultation
-
Related researches and developments, literatures and new
findings

Independent web pages in www.ParhamMedical.org to introduce
the main kids hospitals in Tehran such as
“MOFID KIDS HOSPITAL”, "THE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER”
and “ALI ASGHAR KIDS HOSPITAL”

While www.ParhamMedical.org is under development to accomplish the above
objectives, Parham foundation hope to use its experience with the intended
purpose
of helping kids with similar illnesses such as Parham, whom are in
critical condition in ICUs.
Parham’s medical file which is already uploaded in the above mentioned
site is a sample of the medical files which would be uploaded in this site
for international medical consultations.
In the near future the medical file of other kids whom are hospitalized in
ICUs will be uploaded for medical consultations by medical centers,
hospitals, or doctors abroad. If you are a medical professional, we
appreciate your advice and medical guidance for the kids in our posted
cases, as do their loved ones.
We are looking for any advices or medical guidance for promoting this
humanitarian activity in Iran.
